  • You work third shift as a part-time package handler at UPS Worldport in Louisville, Kentucky.
  • You get paid a regular wage from UPS.
  • You get paid tuition—up to full time undergraduate, in-state rate—at Jefferson each semester.
  • You’re eligible for bonuses based on your academic progress ranging from $350 to $1400.
  • You can get book reimbursement money each semester to help offset the cost of books and software.

What is UPS’
Earn and Learn?

Work for the best with the bonus of free college credits. UPS part-time employees are eligible for thousands of dollars in tuition assistance. Most UPSers start their careers as UPS part-time employees. The company’s strong commitment to promoting from within means today’s part-timers can become tomorrow’s executives.

  • Student employees receive up to $5,250 per calendar year at approved post secondary institutions.
  • You can receive up to a $25,000 lifetime maximum
  • A qualifying student can work the day shift or night shift.

How do I sign up?

  • Applications must be submitted online and approved before the start of the term. A separate application must be submitted for each term or school.
  • Online applications are available at ups.tap.edcor.com. From the home page, select “Submit Application.”
  • After successful completion of courses, part-time non-management employees must fax in grades, itemized tuition bill and proof of payment or proof of deferment along with a completed processing request form printed from the Edcor website mentioned
NOTE: You may submit your application 45 days prior to class starting or you may submit your application 30 days after the start of classes. Edcor can reject your application if you submit later than the allotted time allowed. After the end of the semester, you have exactly 60 days to submit all paperwork for reimbursement. If you wait any longer than the time allotted to you, Edcor can deny reimbursement. Contact your local Human Resources representative with any questions or concerns you may have.
